Torunga

Description

These stout humanoid Crytures are best known for their erratic dances, often accompanied by the dramatic burning of twigs, branches, or other flammable objects held aloft like torches. Magi speculate that this behavior serves as a complex form of communication, though its meaning eludes them. Torungas frequently gather in large groups, hosting chaotic and fiery celebrations that leave trails of scorched vegetation in their wake. Such gatherings inspire fear in most other Crytures, prompting them to aggressively expel Torungas or Torkish from their territories to prevent potential devastation.

Combat

Torunga is relatively fragile, but can pack a massive punch with its ranged attacks. They prefer to go all in with overwhelming force from the start, hoping to overwhelm their foes before their weak defenses can be engaged. If this fails, some of them will fall back on melee attacks and defensive powers to hold off the enemy, while their allies pepper them from the rear.
