Patapitter
Description
These statically charged caterpillars emerge under the cover of night, driven by an insatiable hunger that compels them to devour anything in their path. As daylight approaches, Patapitters begin to secrete a translucent yellow substance that rapidly hardens into a glass-like material. With this substance, they craft intricate shelters for their pack, forming glass hives that gleam in the sunlight. Within these radiant sanctuaries, the Patapitters sleep undisturbed, basking in the warmth of the sun to replenish their energy for the next nocturnal feeding frenzy. This hardened secretion, known as Pitterglass, is highly coveted among conjurers and artisans alike, brimming with potent Celestial and Lightning essence.
Combat
Patapitters are competent snipers who can dish out damage and control effects from a good distance. Their low defenses means that they need to stay out of melee and attack from range whenever possible. This can be difficult with their slow movement speed, but their Climber feature can help them get an advantageous posistion beforehand. They also have access to a number of powers that can get them out of trouble in one way or another, which they will use liberally if any of them get locked into melee.
