With their most ravenous stages behind them, Flitternights can now focus on finding a mate and nesting. Flitternight nests appear as faceted domes of Pitterglass, much larger than what their younger kin create. When stocked with eggs, these nests glow brightly in the night, making them a beacon for other crytures looking for a meal. Because of this, at least one parent stays with the eggs at all times to defend them from predation. Although their young Patapitters will try to leave and follow any trail of food, dutiful Flitternights will herd them back to the nest after each binge to keep them safe.
