Zapjack

Description

Zapjacks are notorious for orchestrating clever heists with the younger Zipjacks in their packs. Acting as leaders and strategists, Zapjacks use electrical pulses to signal commands, coordinating the group with suprising precision. They distract, confuse, or zap other Crytures, while the Zipjacks sneak in to steal food or valuables amidst the chaos. Even when there's nothing to steal, Zapjacks delight in pulling such pranks for fun, leading bewildered Crytures in circles as they stumble through hazards and traps laid by the prankster.

Combat

With more robust defenses than their younger kin, Zapjacks are more willing to go toe-to-toe with an enemy. They're especially fond of disabling enemies with the Stunned status, allowing their little buddies to hit-and-run a single foe repeatedly. Whenever possible, a Zapjack will mark an enemy this way, signaling for their pack to focus fire over the next turn. If they instigate a fight, these crytures always favor ambush tactics to catch their prey unaware.
