Tordnance
Description
With its slow gait and heavy shell, Tordnance is not a particularly adept hunter. Its favored food, therefore, tends to be either slow or sedentary, usually taking the form of shellfish or salty lithids. This extends to the crytures they prey on as well. Rarely do Tordnance deliberately hunt down other crytures to consume their essence. Rather, the essence they feed on comes from crytures who attempt, and often fail, to hunt them, as many crytures underestimate the strength of their defenses.
Combat
Despite their heavy armor, Tordnace are most comfortable at range. Their opening tactic is to hunker down close to one another and concentrate fire on one foe at a time, relying on their hard shells to deflect most of the enemy's attacks. With each volley, they gradually fall back to maintain distance from the melee. If the opportunity to hit multiple enemies presents itself, Tordnance will liberally unleash blast attacks to capitalize on it.
