Kelpooch
Description
A Kelpooch behaves in a much more patient and deliberate way than its Kluppy brethren. Rather than simply hide out and ambush passing prey, these fluid canines will actively stalk other crytures up and down rivers or streams, waiting for them to stop and drink before moving in to strike. When their pack's Kluppies are at play, Kelpooches prefer to lounge about, rolling in the mud or floating on their backs in a pond. Their younger kin often try to drag a Kelpooch into their antics, but this is usually met with a heavy paw flattening their squishy bodies.
Combat
A Kelpooch always tries to attack with the element of surprise, using water or burrowing to conceal itself before striking. Once combat breaks out, they will typically act in a defender-style role, absorbing hits and drawing attention, while the Kluppies of their pack circle the enemies to provide flanking bonuses. To support this role, Kelpooch liberally uses powers that Harden it or restore Health, preferring to let others focus on damage dealing.
