Glarva

Description

This subterranean cryture spends much of its existence in an insatiable search for sustenance. A Glarva's heated core demands constant fuel, causing it to devour nearly anything in its path—including stone and minerals—to fuel its growth toward metamorphosis. Voracious packs of Glarva have been known to tunnel through miles of rock, and when food is scarce, their relentless hunger sometimes drives them to breach human mine shafts, creating unexpected dangers.

Combat

While glarvas are not serious hunters, they are quite skittish, and will attack anything they perceive as a threat. That said, they are not very strategically-minded, and mostly strike out at whichever enemy is closest to them. Glarvas like to attack as many foes as possible at once, so blast powers are their favorite means of attack. If they find themselves outmatched, glarvas won't hesitate to burrow their way out of a fight.
