Seafolk
Metropolitan masters of the waterways.

Features
Seafolk have pale, yellowish skin with thick, wavy hair in dark colors with a green or blueish tint. Their eyes tend to be cool colors and have specks or patterns of secondary colors in them.
Food
Seafolk heavily utilize the coasts and waterways in gathering and producing food. They may use hydroponics to farm semi-aquatic subcrytures such as saltblooms, clams, and oysters, or trawling for fish, shrimp or crabs
Lifestyle
Seafolk were among the first people to build settlements, where they congregated around the coasts and waterways. They have adapted to a more urban life with many tradesmen, artisans and merchants.
Magic
Seafolk are highly familiar with magic. They don’t see it as particularly mystical, but rather as a profession for learned academics.
Conjurers
Seafolk view conjuring as something they collectively get credit for discovering. Conjurers are seen as a high-status profession and a guaranteed path to success.
Crytures
As some of the first people to bind crytures, they are used to their presence in everyday life. However, they sometimes underestimate how dangerous and hostile crytures can be in the wild.
Mythic Crytures
Seafolk have seen mythic crytures be bound for several generations. They see them with less mystery and more as an extreme status symbol for the ruling nobility.
