Marchmen
Plains-dwelling farmers and builders of early settlements.

Features
Marchmen have a relatively fair complexion and their hair is often particularly thick, with a sandy-blonde or light brown coloration. Their eyes are usually lighter colors of brown or green.
Food
Marchmen are masters of agriculture, and their diets are built on food that can be grown or harvested repeatedly. This includes crops such as wheat and corn and fruit-bearing trees, as well as carnids and sectids that produce regular supplies of ingredients, like eggs, milk and honey.
Lifestyle
The Marchmen were early adopters of settled life. Their former days of nomadic plains-dwellers made them well-suited to adopt agriculture, once it was feasible to protect a settled area. Now, they often make up the bulk of farmers in any given settlement.
Magic
For the Marchmen, magic is the foundation that civilization is built upon. Human settlements would be impossible without the protection that magic offers, whether in the form of cryture conjuring, or as advanced equipment that allows them to fend off wild crytures.
Conjurers
Marchmen see conjurers as something they aspire to become. They are viewed as heroic people and treated both with the respect and the high expectations of such a status.
Crytures
Marchmen maintain a healthy respect for the power of crytures. Being a rural people, they are well acquainted with crytures, both as pests on their crops, and as dangers to their well-being. Bound crytures are highly valued for the utility and protection they offer, and are treated with as much favor.
Mythic Crytures
Mythic crytures are seen as both a gift and a challenge to Marchmen. To them, they exist as a way to test humanity's worthiness to rule over the land. Conjurers who prove their worth receive the right to rule and the mythic cryture is a symbol of that.
