Frember
Description
Like their younger kin, Frembers spend much of their time resting in ponds and rivers. Their presence, however, is masked much more thoroughly, as their heated bodies produce a hefty amount of steam from the water. This cloak of steam allows them to hunt more easily, surprising prey from an obscured position. When at rest, Frembers often join together in a chorus of humming croaks that can echo over quite a distance. Other crytures tend to give these areas a wide berth, but some have been known to hunt them down, if the colony sounds especially small.
Combat
In battle, Frembers prefer to stay in water as much as possible, taking advantage of their Steaming feature to obscure them from Ranged attacks. Between their Aquatic and Jumper features, they have little trouble getting around the battlefield in their natural habitat and will use these abilities to circle foes, lobbing Ranged and Burst attacks from all sides.
