Levi Loric

Levi is a member of the League of Magi and the son of Archmage Lucas Loric. He's a good friend of Anton Oakthorne and is like an adopted older brother to Konane and Leilani.

Levi's youth was spent being dragged along on his father's lengthy expeditions, where he picked up most of his knowledge. Eventually, Lucas took up the position of Archmage, and Levi was finally able to settle down in Rootrun in his teens.

Bio

Ambition

Levi is heavily driven by curiosity and the thrill of discovery. He will eagerly go out of his way to learn new things and explore places that he hasn’t seen, even when it means potential danger or hardship. He still isn't used to living in a fixed location, so any opportunity to get away from town is welcome in his book.

Strengths

As the son of an archmage, Levi’s upbringing has equipped him with a basic level of knowledge in most intellectual skills. Crytures are his main forte, and his knowledge of them is quite extensive, both in and out of a binding crystal. A childhood of travel has also given Levi confidence with the unfamiliar. He is rarely phased by unexpected changes, and takes everything in stride

Levi has some skill with sword and wand, but he doesn’t particularly excel in any style of combat. His crytures tend to do the bulk of any fighting, and he applies them to great effect, thanks to a well-rounded team and an extensive understanding of cryture vulnerabilities.

Weaknesses

Levi’s curiosity can sometimes get the better of him. He has a reputation for taking unnecessary risks without a second thought and will pursue new discoveries with little regard for self-preservation.

While he does have some basic combat ability, Levi is not particularly durable in a fight. He prefers to travel light as well, so he tends to eschew heavier armor that would offer more protection.

Astral Pocket

A labyrinthine mansion with walls made of bookshelves constitutes the main portion of Levi’s astral pocket. From this central location, certain bookshelves can be opened like doors, leading to outdoor areas resembling the places Levi has explored throughout his life. These outdoor areas are where his crytures usually spend their time, living in their natural habitats.

Normally, the labyrinth seems to reshape itself, always leading Levi to his intended destination after a short walk. In times of duress, however, he has been known to get lost within his own dreamscape.
