Kade
Kade's family was among the first wave of settlers in the Vivid Vale, following the binding of the Verdant King. He was very young at the time, so to him, the Vale is the only home he's ever known.
Through his early life, Kade simply grew up learning the trade of a farmer like the rest of his family. His life took a turn towards adventure in his early teens, however, as he began to develop lucid dreams. Once word got around to the lords, he was quickly taken under their wing and trained as an apprentice conjurer.
Bio

Ambition
Kade doesn't desire much in life. His ultimate goal is to live a simple life with few troubles. He does, however, view his conjuring abilities as a way to achieve that, and consistently takes steps to build his personal wealth and power. Even if those aren't his driving motivation, he sees them as a way to increase his comfort and decrease his hardship in the grand scheme of things.
Strengths
Thanks to an upbringing of farm work, Kade excels at physical pursuits, both athletic and martial. He also has a strong sense of situational awareness, and often picks up on queues that others would miss. Kade knows his way around nature as well, having grown up on the very edge of the frontier, and has a knack for handling subcrytures, whether it be growing, identifying, or foraging them.
As a conjurer, Kade tends to employ melee-focused crytures, and he doesn’t shy away from standing beside them in the front of battle. He isn’t reckless, though; Kade will let his crytures take the heat when possible, knowing that they can be revived as long as he still lives.
Weaknesses
Despite his sour demeanor, Kade has a difficult time telling people “no.” This often leads to him accepting more responsibility than he's comfortable with, as well as making conflicting promises. Kade values his free time above all, however, so when he has a spare day to himself, he prefers to spend it alone, lest he get roped into helping someone else.
Kade's preference for lighter armor puts him in a vulnerable position on the front lines, as his crytures will unsummon if he loses consciousness. His crytures cover each other's vulnerabilities fairly well, but have few options available for fighting at range.
