Having grown up in a small farming hamlet outside the budding town of Rootrun, Geldhart lived an unassuming life as a gentle giant before his life took an unexpected turn in his teenage years. While out tending the crops, Geldhart saw a pack of wild crytures stray into the field where a number of children from the village were playing. Armed only with his farming tools, he sprung to their defense and managed to fend the Crytures off until the kids brought back help. Word of this spread quickly, and Duke Oakthorne promptly recruited him to be trained as a conjurer in the militia.

When the Duke decided to create the Viridian Order, Geldhart was one of his first picks. He has since risen to the highest rank in the order and now lords over the village of Ironweal.
