Negotiation
Scenario
When the players want something from an NPC, they may need to engage in a Negotiation to come to agreeable terms for both parties. Players must manage the other party’s perception of them, while scoring Appeals to come to an agreement.
Rules
A Negotiation takes place in Strategic Time, and rounds take approximately 5 minutes. To win a Negotiation, players must score a number of Appeals equal to the subject’s Insight before their Patience reaches 0, causing the Negotiation to fail. A subject’s Patience typically begins at 3 + Affinity - Enmity.
