Ursap
Description
Ursaps are intensely territorial, marking the boundaries of their domain with thick layers of their sap, smeared liberally over trees, stones, and other landmarks around their lairs. Their drippings attract a wide range of local crytures who crave the sweet sap, and despite their fierce disposition, Ursaps frequently welcome smaller crytures into their packs. They brook no rivals to their power, however, aggressively expelling any cryture with the potential to challenge their dominance, often rallying their packmates to enforce this rule.
Combat
An ursap usually doesn't spend much time with ranged attacks, and will close into melee as soon as possible. It isn't shy about taking the brunt of attacks, thanks to its high defenses, and tries to protect weaker allies when they get in trouble. Members of the pack will play along with this behavior, either launching attacks from range, or flanking enemies with their boss.
