Skulder
Description
While free from their cocoons, Skulders still retain their patient, watchful nature. They lead their nest-mates on stealthy hunts, using ambush tactics and stealth to slowly surround prey before they descend on them from the canopy above. Skulders also display a curious drive to collect random trophies and trinkets. Their lairs are often cluttered with various odds and ends, valuable or not. Humans are often targeted as prey purely for some item that the Skulder finds interesting, and when nesting near a settlement, they have been known to sneak into sheds or barns at night to nab a trophy or two.
Combat
Skulders are most comfortable in melee combat and will try to engage in it whenever possible. Typically, they achieve this by relying on a combination of stealth and the Climber feature to lay ambushes, dropping down on prey from above with their cluster of Skiddles. Ranged fighting is usually left up to their Mombol allies, but a Skulder won’t pass up a chance to fire off an eye beam if it can’t get in melee for a turn.

This cryture can scale vertical surfaces at its normal Speed without making a talent check.
Panoramic Vision
Attacks against this cryture gain no bonus for having an ally on the opposite side.

This cryture gets a +2 Roll Modifier on Stalking checks.
